ROMEOVILLE, IL – Multiple vehicles were involved in a collision in Romeoville on Sunday that resulted in a woman’s death.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened on I-55 near Weber Road and involved several southbound vehicles.
The Will County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Traneice West, a 26-year-old resident of Bloomington. She was pronounced dead at 2:07 a.m. on July 6 at UChicago Medicine Advent Health Hospital in Bolingbrook. The release did not specify if West was the pedestrian or was an occupant of one of the vehicles.
