Joliet man injured in vehicle collision in Newark 

NEWARK, IL – A 22-year-old man from Joliet was injured in a vehicle collision in Newark last Wednesday, July 8. 

Kendall County deputies were dispatched to Route 47 along Joliet Road and pulled up to the scene before 1:45 p.m. 

First responders rushed the Joliet man to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. 

Deputies have not reported any citations, arrests, or stated how many people and vehicles were involved, or stated the cause of the crash.
