HAMPSHIRE, IL – A 27-year-old woman who was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Route 20 last Monday, July 6, has since been identified.

The Kane County Coroner’s Office told CBS News that the cyclist was identified as Ebony Calvillo, a Hampshire local. Authorities confirmed Calvillo was riding a bicycle when she was struck by a vehicle. She was local to the Hampshire and Pine Grove area.

Officials confirmed that preliminary findings did in fact suggest that Calvillo was struck by a car. It’s unclear whether the driver was caught, although officials said toxicology samples were submitted to a national forensic lab for further analysis.

As of this writing, no citations appear to have been issued, nor charges appear to have been filed against them.
