OSWEGO, IL – Prosecutors have charged a woman with driving under the influence following a three-vehicle crash that sent one to the hospital on Monday morning.

Patch reports that the crash happened on Wolf Road near its intersection with Emblem Circle shortly before 8:15 a.m. on May 11.

Initial reports suggest that a Nissan Pathfinder was headed east when it collided with a Nissan Rogue that had stopped for traffic. The force of the collision sent the Rogue into a Mitsubishi Outlander that was also waiting in traffic.

Emergency responders took the Rogue’s 39-year-old female driver to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities report the 29-year-old woman driving the Outlander is pregnant. Fortunately, neither she nor her unborn child were hurt.

Oswego police booked the Pathfinder’s driver on suspicion of driving under the influence. Lauren Hatch, 44, now faces two misdemeanor charges and was also cited for following too closely. Her next court date is set for June 9.
