AURORA, IL – All three people killed in Sunday’s wrong-way collision on I-88 have now been identified, WIFR reports.

This is part of an ongoing series of stories about this tragic accident, which took place at about 4 a.m. on May 10.

Authorities have identified Heaven Williams as the passenger in the car driven by Sariyah Watson. Both women were 21-year-old residents of Kane County. Both Watson and Williams were 2023 graduates of DeKalb High School and had competed in track there.

Johnathan Rivera of Melrose Park, 32, was the driver who crossed the centerline and struck Watson’s westbound vehicle. Rivera also died in the crash.
