Police on scene of incident on US-20 in Hannover Park, IL

HANNOVER PARK, IL – ABC 7 is reporting a heavy police presence on US-20 in the area of Barrington Road this morning.

Police arrived on the scene shortly before 6 a.m. on May 18, and they appear to still be there about three hours later.

We do not know the exact nature of the incident, although it appears to be affecting traffic throughout the area. The police response has shut down traffic throughout the area around Lake Street, Church Street, and Walnut Avenue.

Commuters should avoid the area if at all possible.
