YORKVILLE, IL – The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office cited a 56-year-old man in connection with a hit-and-run crash that resulted in property damage.
The hit-and-run collision happened before 2:30 p.m. on the 100th block of Riverside Street. Police later found the suspect, a 56-year-old man identified as Vikharuddin Ahmed.
Deputies cited Ahmed for driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of a crash that resulted in property damage, driving an uninsured vehicle, and expired registration, failure to provide immediate notice of an accident.
Ahmed was ordered to make a court appearance.
It’s unclear if other people were involved and injured.
A full investigation is underway.
