ALGONQUIN – A 42-year-old man is being held in the Kane County Jail after causing a head-on crash that left six people injured last Sunday, May 31.
The DailyHerald said the 42-year-old man, identified as Robert D. Barrett, a Lake in the Hills resident, was driving north on southbound Randall Road when he crashed head-on into a southbound minivan.
Barrett was charged with aggravated DUI for the eighth time, and also charged with aggravated DUI that resulted in great bodily harm, and driving with a suspended license.
Barrett is scheduled to make a court appearance on Wednesday, June 10.
